The owner was very friendly and helpful and picked us up from the port. It is very close to the beach. The air conditioning was great. The room was nice and clean.
There was nothing separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom so the floor got very wet.

You could not wish for more friendly people! The owner picked us up and took us to the airport on his own time and dime. They answered all of our questions and made special accomidations for any of our requests. They were sooo helpful and friendly! The location was good, it was a 2 minute walk to the beach and any kind of food and/or bar you could ask for. The travel agencies, mini markets and car/ATV rental places were an easy walk as well. In Perissa, there's not a whole lot to do other than beaching, however, Santorini isn't that big of an island, so it was pretty easy to get around using the tours that the agencies offer. The location of the hotel in Perissa was excellent; on the island it was ok.
The bed was hard, and pretty uncomfortable after a few days of sleeping on it. The bathroom was a little shady at first, but it did the trick. It definately wasn't a romantic place to stay, but the owners made it feel like staying with family, so it wasn't bad at all.

Everything about the Arestousa Villas was exactly what I wanted in our stay on Santorini. It was a 5 min walk to Perissa's center and a 2 min walk to the black sand beach but far enough that it was very quiet at night. Our room was standard with a nice bed, AC, private bathroom, and an incredible balcony. Everyday the room was cleaned and we were given fresh towels. The owner was the nicest person on Santorini, sharing his homemade wine and fresh vegetables from his garden. He also gave us a transfers from the airport when we arrived and to the port at the end of our stay. There is a pool and lounge chairs, but we rarely used it. The pictures on this website are a very accurate portrayal of the place.

We had an excellent holiday at Aretousa Villas. It is family owned, and they were extremely hospitable and generous---always willing to help. The owner picks you up from the airport and will take you back as well. The rooms are clean and nice. For the price during our stay, this place cannot be beat. Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants in Perissa, which is a great town to stay in on the island. The wireless internet is a bit spotty, and doesn't work in every part of the property, so be prepared if it doesn't work in your room. But it always works at the pool area. We would definitely stay here again!
Internet didn't always work in the room.

We had an amazing experience at Aretousa Villas! The value for money was great, and the room was cozy and well-organized. The location was perfect, just a couple of minutes' walk to the beautiful black beach. The staff treated us like family, always greeting us and making us feel welcome.
Hotel breakfast could be improved, maybe by offering more variety and options.
